Established in 1982 by Doug Gibbs, Gibbs Roof Company has been providing expert roofing services for the more than 25 years. For over 15 years Gibbs Roof Company has been located in the Skagit Valley of Washignton State. During that time we have built a reputation around the valley as the most skilled and knowledgeable company for tile or slate projects. Doug has been installing roofs for over 30 years. Between 1969 and 1982 he worked for several union roof companies and gained experience with all types of roof applications. His training was mostly with tile, slate, and built-up "hot tar." He graduated from the A.F.L.-C.I.O. roofers three-year apprenticeship program in 1971 making him the youngest union journeyman in the Los Angeles area at that time. Upon graduation he received the Monier Tile Award for being the most experienced roof tile applicator. In 1982, Doug passed the California contractors license exam and founded Gibbs Roof Company. The company was moved to Washington in 1990.

Bob Mead is the lead foreman for Gibbs Roof Company. Bob has been specializing in tile roofs since he came to Gibbs Roof Company. Bob has been installing roofs for over 25 years. Gibbs Roof Company is very proud of Bob Mead's excellent roof installations.
